On Friday, May 7, the Fifty-Seventh Notice was published in the evening edition (591 Bis) of the Official Gazette of Mexico City, announcing that the color of the Epidemiological Traffic Light of Mexico City changes to yellow, and establishing that the following commercial establishments and activities may operate in a staggered manner: a) As of Monday, May 10, 2021: I. The bank branches will be able to offer service to the public without hourly restriction; II. Commercial establishments, whose main business is the sale of prepared food, may have alive, recorded or video-recorded music, with a maximum volume limit of 62 dB (A); III. Non-essential commercial establishments that are operating according to the color of the epidemiological traffic light, may provide service to the public with a capacity of 40%; IV. Movie theaters will be able to serve the public with a capacity of 40% in general rooms and 60% in VIP rooms; V. Commercial establishments with lodging services may hold conventions indoors, guaranteeing 9 square meters per person and a maximum capacity of 50 people, with the following specific measures: i. Hours from 07:00 to 20:00; and ii. Mandatory use of the “QR System to identify contagions in closed spaces” upon entering the event. b) As of Wednesday, May 12, 2021: I. Outdoor sports events with public, with a maximum capacity of 25% and the following specific measures: i. Online-only ticket sales; ii. Mandatory use of the “QR System to identify contagions in closed spaces” upon entering the event; iii. The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all its graduations; and iv. Only groups of maximum 4 people will be allowed to assign seats together. II. Commercial establishments whose business is the rental of bowling alleys, billiards, casinos or outdoor amusement parks may provide service to the public until 10:00 p.m. In addition, the measures applicable to each sector, available at http://medidassanitarias.covid19.cdmx.gob.mx, as well as the following general measures must be complied with: • Placement of sanitary filters to detect symptoms and record the temperature of personnel, suppliers and clients at the entrance. Those with a temperature higher than 37.5 will not be allowed to enter; • Mandatory use of face masks during the entire stay in the premises; • Where appropriate, use of natural ventilation. If this is not possible, the ventilation system can only operate with recirculation of a minimum of 40% to the outside. Recirculation of air inside is prohibited. The system and filters should be constantly disinfected and cleaned; • Placement of 70% alcohol antibacterial gel dispensers at the entrance and in common use spaces; • Enabling traffic directions for entry and exit, if possible signs for the route; • The staff must use personal protective equipment (at least face mask and protector); and • Constantly disinfect surfaces and objects with which people have contact, as well as other areas of common use.
