In order to make it easier for individuals to manage procedures, provide greater clarity and expedite their resolution through the use of information technology, on August 4, the Agreement Establishing Administrative Measures in the Ministry of Economy for the Purpose of Providing Facilities to Users of the Procedures and Formalities Indicated (the "Agreement") was published. The purpose of this Agreement is to guarantee the operations for the fulfilment of the functions and to adopt various administrative measures within the Ministry of Economy, to facilitate the procedures using information and communication technologies. Therefore, the Agreement emphasises each of the Administrative Units of the Ministry of Economy, specifying the procedures and formalities that will be carried out by implementing the use of these technologies. For example, in the General Directorate of Competitiveness and Competition, the processing and processing of all procedures, including official letters, may be carried out by e-mail; likewise, the General Directorate of Mines will receive the requests listed in the Agreement by e-mail. However, it is important to emphasise that the Administrative Unit may request the interested party to submit the documents in physical form in the event that original documents or any other information that, due to the nature of the procedure, the type of document or the nature of the information cannot be submitted electronically or must be submitted in physical or original form.
