The National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Information (the “INEGI”) has just announced that as of February 1, 2024, the value of the UMA will increase by 4.66% resulting in the following amounts:

The UMA is the economic reference in pesos to determine the amount of the payment of the obligations foreseen in the federal laws, as well as in the dispositions that emanate from them. The UMA is calculated based on the inflation of the last month of the previous year, which in this case was 4.66%.
